On behalf of our Governors, staff and pupils, I would like to welcome you to Battle Hill Primary School.
As head, I feel privileged to be leading such a wonderful team of staff, who have a shared vision; work tirelessly to provide our children with positive school experiences; meet the needs of every child, providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment and continue to develop the outstanding relationships that exist with our pupils and community.

Year 3 dire wolves had a fabulous morning on Tuesday thanks to Nissan visiting and delivering a workshop. They showed us how cars are produced within the factory and then taught us about Japanese culture. The children particularly enjoyed testing out their chopsticks skills and learning how to greet one another in Japanese! We have been left with some great activities to complete over the next few weeks.

And here are our lovely golden breakfast ticket winners tucking into their breakfast this morning. Once again, our amazing lunchtime staff chose a cracking bunch to spend time with on a Friday morning.

First golden breakfast of 2026 was a hit! Lots of giggling and it was lovely to catch up with the children after their first week back. Thanks to our fabulous lunchtime staff for nominating this lovely bunch. A great time was had by all!
