On behalf of our Governors, staff and pupils, I would like to welcome you to Battle Hill Primary School.
As head, I feel privileged to be leading such a wonderful team of staff, who have a shared vision; work tirelessly to provide our children with positive school experiences; meet the needs of every child, providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment and continue to develop the outstanding relationships that exist with our pupils and community.

We have a mathematician in our midst! You can’t make 10 with two pieces of Numicon, because the pieces you want have already been used ? Why not just use 3 numbers instead ! And then go and write the calculation down, while explaining your thinking to Year 2 (to loud round of applause)! All that and you’re only 5 - what a star!

Dance Festival 2025 - Unity
Last week this group of children represented Battle Hill Primary at this year’s Dance Festival. They worked so hard for weeks and it really showed on the night. They opened the show this year and we couldn’t be more proud!
Some of the children from Year 6 have danced in the last few Dance Festivals and are going to be a big miss next year!
It was another fantastic night and we are beyond proud and grateful for the effort, dedication and fun they all put into this year’s dance! Well done!
