Today we said a sad farewell to Mrs Burbeck and Mrs Dyke. They would like to say a massive thank you for their lovely gifts. Mrs Burbeck loved her flowers from the parents and is looking forward to spending her Euros!
The capybara class made pizzas as part of our healthy eating work. We made the dough, decorated our pizzas with healthy toppings and got to eat the pizzas. They were delicious :)
Five little ducks went swimming one day, around the FSU water tray!
On Wednesday, we had a visit from a team from the Life Centre in Newcastle. They brought a planetarium along which we were lucky enough to go inside and look at the stars, planets and constellations, as well as allowing us to take part in some fantastic experiments. We made rockets and launched them from a launch pad to see how far they travelled, depending on the angle they were launched from. We made a graph of our findings. In the afternoon, we measured rocks and conducted experiments to determine whether they were meteorites or earth rocks.
What a wonderful week of activities we have had. From cards to cakes to creations, check out our Easter gallery below...
Here we are having a cracking time decorating our eggs for the competition.
