Welcoming the iPads to FSU
The children were amazing at looking after the iPads as we had our first sessions in using them. Lots of fun and learning to be had!

Scrimbling for the first time.
The children really enjoyed making marks as we sang 'the wheels on the bus'

FS1 settling in
FS1's have settled really well. They are exploring everywhere and enjoying new challenges.

Snails
The children in the FSU found lots of snails in the outdoor area this week. We collected some in a tub and brought them inside to look at more closely. We were amazed to find out that if we turned the lid upside down they stuck to it. We also found out that snails can move quite fast as they…

Tinkering in the FSU
The children in the FSU have enjoyed exploring in our new tinkering area this week. They have been using screwdrivers, hammers and other tools to see if they can take different objects apart.

Watching the ducklings
The FS1 children, really enjoyed observing the ducklings. We looked at their webbed feet and thought they were really good swimmers. We even got a bit wet when they dived under the water, we thought it was great fun!

Growing Beanstalks
The FS1 children have been reading the story Jack and the Beanstalk. We planted beans and have given them lots of water to help them grow. We hope there won't be a giant at the top of our beanstalks!
