Class of 2018
Today our children were visited by Tyne an Wear Fire and Rescue Service to talk about fire safety. The children were taught about the triangle of combustion, smoke alarms and fire plans.

This half term the rattlesnakes and alpacas have been looking at the life cycles of plants and animals.

The rattlesnakes have been focusing on North America this half term. Today they used their iPads to research geographical features of North America.

The orcas and sharks spent the morning at Risng Sun Country Park. The children did some observational drawings, completed a scavenger hunt and did some orienteering.
Year 4 rounders intra competition.
In Year 4 we start each day by dancing along to Jump Start Jonny!
On Wednesday 22nd June all of Y4 went on a trip to Warkworth Castle. This trip was planned to link in with our current topic theme of 'castles'. The children learned about the history of the castle, the key features and also did some role play activities.
Our Year Four tennis players won the shield. We are so proud of them. They scored maximum points!
Eight of our Year 4 children were carefully selected to spend the afternoon at CCC in a mini tennis tournament.

Yesterday, all of Year 4 celebrated the Queen's 90th with a picnic in the glorious sunshine.
The children also learned some key facts about the Queen and their knowledge was put to the test in a class quiz.
