Lego WeDo...

Lemurs have had a fantastic day with Chris Wilde using Lego WeDo... we have made mechanisms out of Lego, created codes and used logical reasoning! By working collaboratively in groups, we have created mechanisms such as alligators, spinners, football games and lions.

Lemur Athletics...

We had a great time starting our new PE topic - Athletics. We even had the help from Churchill Commuity College. We enjoyed building teamwork and independent skills during a range of tasks. Using stop watches, let us record our times and try and beat or best scores!

Exploring the continents on iPads

Tyne Together project

Lemurs have worked great in teams to design and create an innovative product for the Tyne Together project. The class voted anonymously and chose Invisiball. Well done everyone - great creativity.

Sports Festival at Churchill

This morning, Lemurs have enjoyed taking part in a Sports Festival at Churchill. We played lots of games and sports such as dodgeball and netball. We really enjoyed working with the sports leaders from Churchill as well as the children from other schools.

Art Attack

We have been learning about the art of Vincent Van Gogh. It has inspired us to do our own paintings. The stingrays painted flowers and the Dolphins chose to paint desert landscapes to show what we have learned about line and shape in our art lessons.
